Editorial independence

Similar Cams is an independent rating and review platform for adult cam sites. Our rankings are based on 412 hours of hands-on testing across 53 platforms during the April–May 2026 cycle, evaluated against a documented 7-criteria framework with fixed weights (read the full methodology).

We do not sell spots in our rankings. Rankings are finalised internally before any affiliate negotiation. The date of internal sign-off is logged per cycle and available on request to verified researchers at [email protected].

We do not accept:

  • Comped accounts from rated platforms (every test account is self-funded)
  • Free tokens, credits, or trial credits in exchange for a review
  • Sponsored placements or paid reviews
  • Gifted hardware (VR headsets, phones, and other test equipment are bought retail)

Every payment that contributes to a score in our rating came out of the editorial budget. Total testing spend in cycle v4.0: ~$2,700.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links on this site (especially «Register on {Platform}» CTA buttons) are affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and create an account or make a purchase on the destination platform, Similar Cams may receive a commission from the platform. This commission:

  • Has zero influence on rankings, scores, or editorial content.
  • Does not increase the price for you.
  • Helps fund the testing budget that makes independent rankings possible.

We publish the correlation between affiliate revenue share per platform and rank position with each major cycle. If the correlation is statistically distinguishable from zero, that is a signal of compromise — we treat it as a methodology failure and document it transparently in our changelog.

Inclusion of a Provider in this list does not mean the Provider receives any preference in our rankings. All rankings are finalised before affiliate terms are negotiated — see «Editorial independence» above.

Age verification & compliance

All platforms in our ranking comply with mandatory age verification standards. Every reviewed platform passed verification of:

  • 18 USC § 2257 record-keeping requirements (US-based and US-serving platforms)
  • CSAM prevention policies and reporting protocols
  • Public takedown procedures for non-consensual content

Platforms that failed any of these checks were excluded from the ranking. We do not link to platforms operating in jurisdictions with unclear age-of-consent enforcement.

Similar Cams does not host adult content. We link to third-party platforms that do, and those platforms are responsible for their own content compliance. By visiting this site, you confirm you are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).

What we don’t do

  • We do not host adult content.
  • We do not facilitate transactions between users and performers — all payments go through the destination platform’s own billing systems.
  • We do not collect personal information beyond standard web analytics (see our Privacy Policy).
  • We do not represent or endorse any individual performer. The rating evaluates platform infrastructure, not individual content creators.

Corrections policy

Cam platforms move fast. Some of our scores will be wrong by the time you read them.

Email [email protected] with:

  • The platform name
  • The specific criterion you believe is incorrect
  • Evidence (screenshots, screen recordings, links to platform changes)

We acknowledge within 2 business days and publish a correction within 7 business days if the evidence holds up. Every past correction is listed in the public corrections log (coming with cycle v5.0).

A disagreement about weighting (you think Pricing should be 20%, not 15%) is not an error and we will not change weights in response. A factual claim being wrong (we said a platform supports Apple Vision Pro and it does not) is an error and we will fix it.
